All of the products in Taps' Internet Store have been organized into departments, functional groups and preview collections to help you easily find what you need.
To browse our store, start at the Internet Store lobby. There, you can choose which product department best suits your needs.
After selecting a department, a new page will be displayed, providing further choices to help you narrow down the products of interest to you. One or two more selections and you will be viewing a product display page where you can review and select products to include in your shopping cart.
These navigation buttons are provided to help you browse the store. Clicking the "up" arrow will take you to a more general category page with a collection of links to pages similar to the one you were viewing. The "right" and "left" arrows take you to the next or previous page of the catalogue within the same category. When the arrow is grayed, you have reached the end (or beginning) of that category.

The Search Taps page will help you find exactly what you're looking for in our catalogue. You can get to the search page by clicking Search or Search Taps on any page in the store.
You can search by keyword, manufacturer or product finish/style.
- To search by keyword, simply enter the keywords you are looking for and click the "Search by Keyword" button. This method can be used to search for specific products or catalogue numbers if you know them. For more information on conducting advance keyword searches, click the help on searching link at the bottom of the search page.
- To search by manufacturer, simply select a manufacturer from the drop list on the search page and then click "Search by Manufacturer".
- To find items with the same finishes or styles, select the finish from the drop list on the search page, then select "Search by Finish". This feature is most useful when you are trying to locate products which match items you have already selected or own.
A search results page is displayed after you have clicked one of the search buttons. The items which seem to best match your search criteria are displayed first. From here you can view any of the pages in the search results by clicking their links. Use the "Back" button of your browser if you need to return to the catalogue page you were viewing just prior to initiating a search.

Our Internet Store uses a "virtual shopping cart" system to keep track of the products which interest you and to allow you to order products easily.
To select products, first find the catalogue page displaying a product of interest. If you know a specific model number or name, then searching our database is the best way to find specific product pages. If you do not yet have a specific product in mind, then browsing our catalogue will help.
Once you have found a page displaying a product that interests you, select the product option or finish from the drop list beside the product description, select a quantity, then click the "Add to Shopping Cart" button. At this point you have made no commitment to purchase. You have simply added the product to your shopping cart (a list of items that interest you and that you may purchase).
After clicking "Add to Shopping Cart" the current contents of your shopping cart, along with the prices and totals, are displayed. To change the quantities or remove items from your shopping cart, select the "Modify Cart" link. To have shipping costs and taxes calculated, click the "Shipping and Taxes" link. To return to the display page to revisit any product in your shopping cart, click the "View" link beside the product description. "More Shopping" takes you back to the Internet Store lobby where you can continue to browse or search for additional products.
Once you are satisfied with the products in your shopping cart click on the "Order On-Line" or "Quote and Ordering" links to initiate the ordering/quotation process.

Ordering or receiving a detailed quotation from our catalogue is easy. First you Browse or Search our catalogue for the right products. Then you select products to include in your shopping cart. Once you are satisfied with the products and quantities in your shopping cart you can click the "Quote and Ordering" link on any page to view the checkout menu.
When ordering you will be presented with a list of ordering/quotation options. If you are a new customer and wish to order over the Internet with a credit card, select the "Internet Order - New Customer" order option. If you are a repeat customer and have a copy of your Taps Account number (this will be found on previous order confirmations) then the "Internet Order - Repeat Customer" order option will be simpler and more convenient. If you would rather order by mail or fax, then select that option. If you would like to receive a quotation, including delivery schedule, select the "Request for Quotation" link.
Next you will be asked to select, or confirm, the area where the product is to be shipped. This selection allows us to calculate the shipping cost and sales taxes. Choose the appropriate region from one of the drop lists provided, then click the button beside the region name, either the "Canada", "United States", or "International" button.
You will then be presented with the appropriate order/quotation form. For credit card orders, a secure order form is provided (the encryption capability of your browser is turned on to encrypt all data transferred over the Internet). Follow the instructions on the form, being sure to include all the required shipping and contact information. The product and order list are automatically included on the order form.
For quotations click "Submit for Quotation" once you have completed the form. Be sure to include any questions, comments or special shipping instructions for an accurate quotation.
For Internet orders click "Submit Order" once you have entered and checked the information on the order form. This is the point where you are committing to the purchase and payment. Once you click on "Submit Order" the transaction has been initiated. An order confirmation will be sent to you by email. If the product is in stock then it will be shipped within two business days and payment will be processed against your credit card. For more information on payment processing, click here.
